Once you register you will receive a confirmation email from Housing Assistance Corporation to be followed by another confirmation email from the participating law firm. Then a qualified professional at the law firm will review the information from the loan modification request form you filled out and they will contact you free consultation.
They will answer any questions you may have about your loan modification and discuss the best approach to provide the relief you are seeking based on your individual needs. Please feel free to ask them absolutely anything you wish and take full advantage of this valuable advice.
If your situation qualifies you as a candidate for a loan modification they will be asking you to provide information and complete necessary paperwork. They will be asking you to provide them with information which will include two months of current bank statements, proof of wages, recent pay stubs, copies of your two most recent tax returns (1040's), your mortgage statement and a hardship letter which explains how your current financial situation makes it necessary to modify this loan to avoid defaulting on it. They will be happy to discuss all of this with you and will walk through the process with you every step of the way.
